Gas Measurement Technician (DCGT)

Job Summary

Calibrate, test, troubleshoot and repair gas measurement and regulation equipment. Install, test and maintain electrical equipment (Electronic Flow Measurement, Remote Telemetry Units, AC/DC circuits, etc.). Obtain readings, analysis and notifications of problems concerning data pertaining to cathodic protection. Ensure proper operation of system within state and federal compliance guidelines. Prepare and maintain records and reports.
Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

Required- (Please make sure your resume clearly states how you meet this minimum requirement):

Minimum 3 years of gas or related work experience.

Minimum 3 years of experience working with computers.

Instrumentation and controls experience. Ability to operate and troubleshoot various electronic and pneumatic devices such as flow controlling and regulating equipment, orifice and pressure gauges, transducers, etc. Ability to monitor pipeline pressures Knowledge of safety practices and procedures. Knowledge of regulatory requirements. Ability to operate various equipment and tools. Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office and data management systems. Ability to identify problems, collect and analyze data and draw valid conclusions. Ability to establish and maintain rapport and communicate effectively. Ability to work independently and as a team member.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
